Overseas Study Programs
Sophomores registering for the Fall semester are eligible to study at one of our sister-universities in Canada: University of Lethbridge in Alberta and University of Regina in Saskatchewan. U-Lethbridge provides an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) program, while U-Regina operates an ESL (English as a Second Language) program. Students spend the entire semester in Canada, taking courses as required. The credits of the courses will be fully transferred to UOU regular credits. All students participating in U-Lethbridge program are required to stay in home-stay families so that they live in an English-speaking environment all the time and have better opportunities to learn Canadian culture. Students studying in U-Regina are required to use its dorm system, which will facilitate interactions with Canadian students.
