Our Mission
The Department of English Language and Literature strives to achieve the following educational goals.

Through in-depth study of English Linguistics and Literature, students develop valuable critical, analytical thinking skills to become more creative and productive intellectuals.

Students nurture global leadership by expanding their scope to the international register, based on understandings of various cultural contexts and perspectives.

By exposing themselves to various social and cultural situations, students mature as professionals who will analyze issues at hand and provide solutions, participating in significant conversations in the global society as well as in the local community.
